During the weekend, I was inspired by the place where I went to buy art supplies, which sparked my imagination about architectural outlines. I began by sketching the shapes of buildings as well as the form of Liberty, exploring the connection between structure and rhythm. I experimented with different color blocks to represent various shapes, and I also used watercolor to illustrate the extended streets in the scene. Throughout the process, I repeatedly drew and refined the patterns to explore how repetition can create a sense of balance and continuity. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this experiment, as it allowed me to develop my understanding of composition and to express architectural forms in a more personal and creative way.
